Dennis Sena Awitty is the Executive Secretary of the Pharmaceutical Society Of Ghana (PSGH).
He holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy Degree from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST. Kumasi-Ghana), a Post Graduate Diploma in Tropical Medicine and Public Health (DTMPH) and MSc.
International Public Health from the Tropical Institute, Humboldt university, Berlin and Doctor of Pharmacy from KNUST. Kumasi, Ghana.
He has been the Executive Secretary Of the PSGH since 2nd July, 2009 where he performs advocacy roles including the legislation to establish the Ghana College of Pharmacists, the Institutionalization of Doctor of Pharmacy in Pharmacy Training Universities in Ghana. deregulation of Artemisinin Combination Therapies (ACTS) from prescription only medicine (POM) to over-the-counter medicine (OTCM) among others. Dennis is a member of the Data and Intelligence Commission of the International pharmaceutical Federation (FIP). He lives Tema, Ghana with his Wife and a son.
